The architects have created a residential complex of 500 apartments with landscaped terraces
In the British city of Birmingham plan to build a residential complex with landscaped terraces. Architects London office Architects of Inventions for the new project “garden hill” was inspired by the famous hanging gardens of Babylon, the portal writes about design and architecture ArchDaily.
The complex will consist of two 25-storey towers with a capacity of 500 apartments with landscaped terraces. It plans to build in the area Digber a ten minute walk from the centre of Birmingham. From apartments and terraces with panoramic views of the city, as stated in the project description.
The total area of “garden hill” will be about 38.5 thousand sq. m. 60% of the apartments in the complex is designed with one bedroom and is designed for students and singles, and 40% of the apartments have two bedrooms. On the first floor will house public space, Studio for creativity, and office spaces for startups, as well as shops.

The authors of a residential complex created the project with the latest energy efficient technologies. The building will be built entirely from cross-laminirovanie timber (CLT). In addition, it is assumed the use of renewable sources of energy, including wind and solar, which will be responsible for floor heating and hot water beneath it.
